Kung Alam Mo Lang

Last night, during the conference, Joecelle, Karen, Lei, Japoy and Angeli wanted to make a movie. At first, they said that there should be three movies merged into one: Horror, Comedy and Romance. Like in the movie, "Bcuz of You", there are three different stories. Of course, I'm in the Horror movie because of my hair. Hehe. But someone said that we should try one movie first before doing the three movies. They said that we would watch it on Valentine's party on February. Lei said to give song titles and that we would try to apply the lyrics or the musci video on our movie. Karen suggested "Kung Alam Mo Lang". At first Lei, agreed but then Joecelle said that applying the music video of "Because I'm a girl" by Kiss would be too much work. So instead they made up their own plot of the story. So after making the story, we then selected the cast. And guess what part I got? I got the leading lady part! Argh! I don't to be the leading lady but they somehow persuaded me to play the part. Lei got the part of the leading man. Haay,, anyway, we were talking about the other characters when we heard a snore. Abraham was sleeping! Haha! We tried to wake him up by shouting and pressing the phone but it was know use. We just laughed then. We finished at 3:30 am.

I alarmed my cellphone at 9:00 am because I have to wash our clothes and finish it before lunch; because I'm going at Karen's at 12:30. We went there to talk about the movie and, as usual, to dance. After naming the characters, Lei had to go because he has work at five. We went with to the bus stop and tried to convince him, teasingly, that we were going to have a great time when he leave and that he should not go to work anymore. Haha. After he left, we just dance and do soundtripping. When it was 6:30 pm, I said that I should get home or my mom would get mad. I would just walk home because our house weren't so far. Then they told me and Grace (Grace was also going home) that they would walk home with us. It was really fun because on the way, we were singing Christmas songs. They, Edward, Joecelle, Japoy, Abraham, Karen, and Grace walked with me until I got home. Then they walked Grace home.

Wheelies...again...

I went to Wheelies again! It's not a field trip but a a going out with friends stuff. Last night, We had another conference. The 6 way calling thing. The people in the conference are, namely, me, Angeli, Karen, Japoy, Joecelle and Lei. We were talking about the Wheelies thing. Japoy and Lei had work today so,they have to leave early today at Wheelies.

Wheelies isn't opened until 1pm so Anjel and I went to Karen's house to wake her up. Lol.When we arrived there, she was still sleeping. It was 11am. What a sleepyhead. Hehe. Then at 12:28 we waited for the bus. Joecelle and Camille was already in the bus. Edward and Japoy would go to Wheelies with themselves and Lei and Angeli would wait for us at the bus stop where we will go off. *forward*

We walked to Wheelies, paid the entrance and rent some blades. We also did the things we had done last field trip. The chute-chute train was faster and a bit longer than in the field trip though. They had the "Pick a Wall" game again. Too bad I got out on the second round again. After the game, more "train" and "tag" games. Then we practiced skating backwards. I already know how except I don't know how to stop and change directions. Then I helped Japoy, Karen and Lei to skate backwards. Teaching is hard, you know. Lol. Anyway, we skated until 2:30 when we came up to a decision to leave and eat at Garden City. Most of us, including me, hadn't had lunch yet and we were really hungry. After eating, the others want to go window shopping so we just came with them. When 4:00 came, Lei said he had to go because he have to catch the bus. After he left, we stayed there for about 20 minutes more then went to the bus stop to wait for the bus. On the bus stop, I asked Joecelle to teach me his latest dance step. Hehe. Imagine us, in the bus stop, dancing when there's no music. When the bus arrived, we went straight to Karen's house to watch the video Edward made. It was the S.C.R.E.W. Christmas special. You can watch it on my friendster profile. Then after that, my mom called and asked me to go home.

Christmas Party 2005

hai..Have you ever had a day you wanna experience again? ako, nung christmas party...apologies kung magiging informal ang entry na ito at kung mag-taglish ako.. ndi ko kac ma-express sa isang language lng ang naramdaman ko nung party eh.. 

Our Christmas Party was held on the last day of school before Chirstmas break at Karen's house. Of course, we didn't went straight to Karen's house; we went to our own houses first to pack up clothes and stuff (some of us are going sleepover after the party, I was one of them). Anjel and I then went to Karen's house and found out that we were too early. So then, I decided to fix my hair into something fancy, using curling irons, and it succeeded. It was still early so Karen did the dishes before her mom gets mad.(*). We were surfing the net on Karen's laptop when people started arriving. There still are quite a few missing so they just turned o the stereo and hung out for awhile. When Lei arrived, I asked him to teach me their choreo at "Do Somethin" because their choreo was really cute. He was teaching me when a pictorial interrupted us. (*)(*). Oh, well. Lei said that he would just teach me some other time. I then went to the upper level of the basement. Jaypee kept calling me Lana because he said that I looked liked Lana from Smallville because of my hair. He insisted on taking pictures so I just agreed. Iba na kac pag artista, hehe.(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)

So after the said pictorial I went back to the lower level of the basement to watch "debut".(

*). Shortly after, someone announced that it's time to eat.(*)(*)(*)(*). We ate while were watching. After eating, Lei announced that we were going to watch the "The buzz video" we made (a talk show, where they answered rumors and welcomed us as part of the group) and the music video of the S. C.R.E.W. (*)(*)(*)(*). After that, we performed our "Stick Wit U" and "Don't Cha" dances.(*). After our performance, many of us started dancing.(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) They turned off all the lights except for the disco ball. We were dancing nang tinopak kami. At dahil tinotopak kami, we played "Sasara ang bulaklak, bubuka ang bulaklak".(*). Hehe. It was really fun. After that, they played a song wherein Lei, Japoy and Karen had a choreo. I really like the beat and their choreo. Their song was "Number One" by Boa.(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) Then Joecelle was the next to perform, "Pon De Replay" was the song he danced.(*) And while he was dancing, some of us can't help to pose infront of the camera. Hehe.(*)(*)(*)

After all the performances and presentations, it was now time to open the presents.(

*) Of course, some of us already knew who our secret Santa was while the other doesn't have any clue and was shocked. I had a hunch that Karen's my Secret Santa and I was right. Hehe. I had that guess when Karen said that her Secret Santa gift was easy to know and get. What could be more easier than a Harry Potter fan who saw a HP Journal of 2006 and wanted to get it for Christmas? That was too easy for Karen. So then we gave and received presents and gratitude, and, yeah.

After that exchange gifts, Joecelle said that it's time for "Game KNB?" The contestants was to be picked by drawing out pieces of paper with names. Too bad I wasn't picked. I really liked to win that "Ferrero Rocher"!! Oh well, Sara won the game and got a pack of the chocolate. (*)(*)

When the game was over, people started to leave. But not before we took pictures of the group first.(*). It was 11pm and the people that aren't going to go sleep at Karen's house are leaving. So then, they just sang on the videoke and I asked Lei to teach me the steps. He said that he was tired so I pretended to be mad. You know, like I'm glaring at him but I'm smiling. Then I asked Japoy to teach me the dance instead. Thankfully, he accepted. When I learned the moves, we started the music then Lei started to dance with us. I said, "Oi, jaypee, tayo magsayaw. Ikaw nagturo sakin eh." But still, I'm smiling. Hehe. We saw other people who are getting sleepy so we said that we would exercise by dancing "Pinoy Ako" by Orange and Lemons. It was really fun because the other persons were following us while we danced. We were lively by the end of the dance. Then from 12midnight to 3am, we danced and I eventually sang with Anjel, Garce, and Albert. Then Karen told Lei to cook his ever famous "palabok" but he was the only one upstairs so Karen needed volunteers to come with him and talk to him so he won't get bored. (Paimportante!) Anyway, Japoy and I went upstairs but I was the only one who ended up doing what Karen asked us while Jaypee just watched tv beside the kitchen.(*). Then I went to see what Jaypee was watching. I had the camera with me so we took a picture.(*). Then Lei was done with the sauce and told us to watch over the noodles. Jaypee kac eh, naging ganun tuloy ung noodles. There's something wrong with the noodles though I can't put my finger on it. The others told us that it was good though.

It was 4am when things started to get quiet. I think it was because Camille said that Karen was scolded by her mother beacuse we are too noisy. So we went to a circle (

*) and stayed like that for 30 minutes when Karen asked why are we quiet. So we said the reason and Karen told us that it was not true. By then, we were not interested in doing anything but to stay in that circle. (*)(*)(*). Then we began taking funny and scary pictures of each other. (Photos exclusively for S. C.R.E.W. Sorry guys, they don't want to let me post it.) So I remebered a game called "Break the code." It was like, "Pupunta ako sa..." then the person who made the code will say a thing he will bring to the place he would go to. Then he will say a series of things and the players try to figure that pattern of the said things. When my code was broken, others started to make their own codes. By the time we were tired of the game, my mind was spinning. It was then 6:30am and none of us hadn't slept a blink.(*) Then we exercised again, dancing the "Pinoy Ako" and our bodies was slightly awakened. But after a full night of no sleep, after 30 minutes, some of us are lying on the floor, some on the couch and others inside the room. We were just lying there and not sleeping. At dahil bangag na kami, nag-pictorial pa kme...saya..hehe..(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) Then when it was, like, 7:45am, no one was lying on the couch anymore and I laid down and eventually fell asleep. I woke up at 9:40am. I asked Joecelle to dance so I would be completely awaken. Then, Lei, Joecelle, Japoy and Albert went to pick up Karen's new television. We did nothing but danced and sing while waiting for them. When they arrived, it was almost noon and Anjel and I decided to go home.

Wala na akong masabi. Basta alam ko naging masaya talaga ako. Pramiz.

Wheelies

Today is a day I will never forget. It was just that this day is so filled with fun, excitement and surprises. My day started on a hasty morning, where I found myself looking for things and arranging it because I didn't do anything the night before but finished the puzzle my mom brought home. Anyway, my dad dropped me off at school then, things got a little, well, less hurried. 

In math today, we didn't do anything but watched a movie "Where the Red Fern grows". That was the first surprise. Usually in math, we have 'mental math', discussions, correcting the quizzes, lecture and quizzes. Maybe the holiday spirit got into my teacher. The movie was good but we didn't finish it. My teacher told us that we could come around at lunchtime to finish the movie -- as if I would waste lunch period on movie where I would know what would happen in the end(our teacher read the book to us; we where just watching the movie to see the difference). The second surprise was my teacher in Social Studies let us watch a movie. What was that movie called? "The Grinch who stole Christmas". I nearly laughed when I saw what we were watching. No wait, I laughed. So then, I just told Jelyn, my classmate, love stories that I found on some internet site. Another thing is, there was a dance in Sisler today and Jelyn got two extra tickets. She gave one to me. People who would go to the dance can leave the class at 11:15, 30 minutes early than usual. I just wasted her ticket though; because I didn't go to the dance. I just hanged out at the cafeteria to wait for my friends. Lunch period came and for the second time since I became part of S.C.R.E.W., Karen and the others went to sit with us in the caf. Usually there are only five of us sitting there and they are hanging out near the art room. It was just fun. Then we waited until we were called to Rm. 5 because we're going on a field trip. But first, a pictorial was held. (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)Hehe...

The picture you saw above is the name of the place we went today for the ESL field trip. I do not have a single ESL class yet I went. I guess I somehow persuaded Mrs. Grier, the teacher in ESL to let me come with them. After all, I'm also a new student there and I just got here. blah...blah... I really had a great time. We played a game called "Pick a Wall", then we tag one another, then the so-called "Chu-chu-train" (*)(*)(*).

After two hours of nonstop roller skating, we went to Garden City to eat, and to gobble up Joecelle's fries (*). After finishing Joecelle's fries again and trying to snatch away his Mama Burger, we decided to go home. We waited at the bus stop and L.A. is having mental problems (peace!), or as you call it "tinotopak nanaman". And because he is "sinusumpong nanaman ng pagkabaliw at pagka-retarded", we had another pictorial on the bus stop. Good thing we were the only ones there because we are so noisy and so hyperactive. After that, I didn't went home. I went to Karen's house to upload the pictures for the day; and also to practice for the performance we're going to present on the Christmas party. By the end of our practice, we have not only two presentations but three: "Stick Wit U", "Don't Cha", and "Pinoy Ako" (song on the Pinoy Big Brother show). We also rearranged, decorated, and cleaned Karen's basement for the party. Oh well, today is really fun. But the excitement doesn't end there. There's still the Christmas Party to look forward to. Hehe.

So anyway, it's now one in the morning and I still got classes tomorrow...er, later. I gottta sleep!

Christmas Concert

Today was the Christmas Concert at Sisler. Christmas Concert as in dance and drama concert because there certainly was no singing in that concert. It turned out pretty well in my opinion.

This afternoon, we held the dress rehearsals and my teacher graded us. I didn't paid muxh attention to the other classes while they're performing, partly because I forgot my glasses and can't see, and partly because I thought we still get to watch the concert after we did our dance number. But then, after our dance number, "Wait a Minute" by Pussycat dolls, a teacher asked my classmates and me to arranged the food for the reception after the concert. We arranged the food, all six tables of it and yet, the teacher hadn't allowed us to take even a piece of cookie from the table. Grr.. it's so unfair. I mean, I'm hungry and all; and I also helped arranged the food. Oh well, enough of that part. Anyway, we waited for the concert to be finished while guarding the food we arranged; so that when the concerts done, we will be the firsts one to grab the food. Hehe.. I then waited for Karen and Joecelle to exit the door. I brightened up I Joecelle had a video camera in his hand but got a little gloomy again because they arrived late and got in in time for the fourth dance number (guess what? We we're the third! grr!).

After all the whining and complaining about not having our dance recorded in the vidoe cam. We had another pictorial. Boy, we sure are getting obsessed with pictures. Hehe..here are some pictures of us posing for the camera.. (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)

Outside, when we are about to get home, even the freaking snow won't stop us from posing in front of the camera. No pictures though, I'm tired of uploading.hehe. We waited for the bus for, like, forever. To prevent us from boredom, we sang different songs like More Than Words, It might be you, "ang pasko ay sumapit..", "sa may bahay...", and more. Then we get Jaypee blindfolded and get him to find us on the sidewalk. He almost got on the street so we stopped. hehe..After 20 years of waiting for the bus, at last, one came by.

Life is Good

What a week! My bones are aching...and I mean aching! I'm sleepy and tired and we've got loads of assignments to do...

But despite all of that I am so happy!! First of all, it's because I got in! There had been try-outs for volleyball last Wednesday and Thursday. And on I got in! It was so cool!... And then, my friend and I applied for a student job in McDo and then the hiring manager told us that she'll call us for interview... I got home, my mom went to walmart. When they got home, I had a surprise. Guess what?? Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hardbound!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haayyy... I love this day...Life is good..au revoir...

Now it is Light, suddenly it is Night.

LightLand. A fantasy by H.L. McCutchen. I've finished this book a few minutes ago. My comment? This book's brilliant, awesome, wicked, superb. It really is. The minute I start reading this book, I don't want to put it down(but of course, I have to.) It's a mystery, adventure, suspense and action with a bit of humor. The story is so good that I make this as one of my favorite books. This story is about a girl named Lottie Cook. Lottie Cook is not your ordinary girl. She has a memory so strong that she remembers everything she had experienced the moment she was born. Even the "flat, tinny taste of powdered baby formula'. And sometimes, she can even remember things that happened before she's born. Oh, and she wears only pajamas at school. (You'll find out why when you read the book). She has a bestfriend named Lewis Weaver who hadn't spoken until he was three years old when his father mysteriously disappeared. He is a boy who wouldn't talk to ANYONE (not even to his own mother), only to Lottie. The only person to the entire world he talked to is Lottie. They lived their lives normally in Iowa until when Lottie is eleven years old. Lottie's father made her a story box out of her favorite cherry tree. That's where the adventure begins. Because of the Story Box, Lottie Cook found herself in LightLand.

It has a mystery and suspense thing that makes the reader have extreme eagerness to the story and want to read more to find out. At first the anticipation almost killed me. hehe...The first part about LightLand is really puzzling. And, before, Ms. d'Avignon brought suspicion because she seemed to know what's on Lottie's mind. But as I read on, mysteries began to unfold and I finally implicit the furtive behind the Story Box, Lottie's father, Ms. d'Avignon, the Night King, Mr. Weaver's unexplained disapperance and, of course, the secrets and memories of Light Land. This book is sure to be enjoyed by many readers just as much as I did.
