I GOT MY BEGINNER'S TODAY!!!
yay! And I had my first in-car lesson today as well. =D Actually, it happened all so unexpectedly. I was supposed to just get a customer number for my driver's-ed class (at Manitoba Public Insurance) but then they told me that I could take the written test there then. So then I did. The test was easy (thanks for the in-class practices in my driver's ed class) though i had two mistakes. (You're allowed up two six.) They did the eye test, took my photo and my signature, and yeah. I didn't get my license right away though. It's because I had to pay $41.00 and I forgot my freaking debit card. I told Lei if we could go back at MPI after school. (I took the test before lunch.) Then I called my mom and told her the news and that we are gonna go back again at MPI. She told me to just pick her up at work and she'll pay the bill. =D. We were in a hurry that afternoon because I had driver's ed at 6:00pm. So when I arrived at school, I told my teacher that I picked up my beginner's. She told me that i have an in-car lesson right away. Like right then at that time. I was like, wat the heck...hehe... My partner was already in the car with our instructor. She was the first one to drive. Our instructor told us that we are just going to practice driving a straight line. So imagine our surprised, when he led Sonya (my partner) up to Burrows and Keewatin (these are super busy streets, mind you). After an hour, it was my turn. I was so nervous. He keeps reminding me to stop properly. And I don't know how to turn properly!! waah.. Anyways, when I was driving, there was suddenly a black-out in the whole north side of the city. I was so dark because even the streetlights and traffic lights are not working. So he decided to go back to school. (I parked the car, ^_^)..Ayun..
Nga pala, Sorry Lei! Kac parang naging driver sya eh. He came with me to all the places I asked him to (MPI, then school, then work ni mommy sa downtown, then MPI ulit, tapos hatid c mommy sa bahay, tapos hatid ako sa school) then after all of that he and Grace just came home. Thank you soo much! You're my hero talga.. I wouldn't be in time for my driver's class if not for you. I owe you big time! I love you! ^x^
